Celebrate the School of Visual Arts MFA Social Documentary Film with the Sixth Annual Thesis Showcase. This screening series is a sneak peek of the films of our 2016 graduates. This year’s films take us around the globe to a Beijing general’s family home, an orphanage in the birthplace of the Buddha, and New York City’s own neighborhoods, as well as the nebulous regions between countries and our own fuzzy memories. Come see the best our emerging documentary filmmakers have made during their time in our program. Filmmakers will be present, and Q&As follow each screening.
