An SVA Premieres screening event, featuring thesis work by the BFA Film and BFA Animation classes of 2019.

A private party for BFA Film and BFA Animation thesis students and their families and friends will immediately follow the last screening on Sunday, May 12. While the screenings are open to the public, the party is open only to BFA Film and BFA Animation students and guests.
Some film screening highlights include Alicia Krupsky’s documentary about her sister’s journey through Olympic trials in swimming; Sage Love’s documentary about returning to his native land, Haiti, after leaving as a child; Meicen Meng’s narrative film about two teenage boys in a beautiful, rural part of China realizing that they are falling in love (one of only four finalists honored in the prestigious Coppola Short Film Competition); and Anastasia Erastova’s experimental film about a search for beauty and meaning all over the world, in remote and surprising places.
