Urbanworld is a film festival, based in New York City, showcasing narrative and documentary features, short films, web originals, music videos, spotlight screenings and conversations, and live staged screenplay readings. The mission as a festival and an organization continues to have urgent relevance as the storytellers and ideas presented across the festival platforms lift up the best of storytelling, technology and culture.

SVA Theatre COVID Protocols for Event Attendees

All those entering SVA Theatre need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA / WHO authorized COVID vaccine and must show proof of vaccination upon entrance. “Fully vaccinated” means at least 14 days past the final dose of the vaccine received, plus a booster shot for those eligible to receive it. (Recipients of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines become eligible for a booster six months after their second dose, and recipients of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine become eligible two months after their single dose.)

Everyone entering SVA Theatre must wear approved face coverings that cover the nose and mouth at all times. CDC guidelines state that bandanas, gaiters, or masks with vents/valves are not approved.
