DANNY CANNON, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER/DIRECTOR, GOTHAM

Danny Cannon most recently was the executive producer of the drama “The Tomorrow People.” He previously was an executive producer on “Nikita,” and a co-creator and executive producer of “Dark Blue.” Perhaps best known for directing the “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” pilot, Cannon remained with the series as a producer and writer, working on the pilots both for “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY.” Additionally, he executive-produced and directed the series “Eleventh Hour” and “The Forgotten.”
Cannon grew up in North London, and began his career as a theater actor. While working with a small repertory company, he directed several short films featuring his fellow actors. Acclaimed film director Alan Parker saw Cannon’s work and championed the young director (who was then just 19 years old) in “BBC Showreel,” an annually televised competition. After Cannon took first prize, Parker persuaded him to enroll at the prestigious National Film and TV School.
As a film director, Cannon’s credits include “The Young Americans,” starring Harvey Keitel and Viggo Mortensen; “Judge Dredd,” starring Sylvester Stallone; “Phoenix,” starring Ray Liotta, Angelica Huston and Giovanni Ribisi; and “Goal!,” starring Kuno Becker and Anna Friel. He also has directed a number of commercials and music videos. Cannon currently resides in Los Angeles.

KEN WOODRUFF, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, GOTHAM

Ken Woodruff has worked as a writer and producer on “The Mentalist” and “Shark.” He attended Riverside Community College and University of California San Diego before going on to work as a bartender, a lifeguard, a cook, a deckhand on a sport fishing boat and an unloader of boxes at Costco.
Woodruff was raised in San Bernardino and currently lives in Santa Monica with his wife and three children.

MODERATOR: SHRUTI GANGULY, CO-FOUNDER, FICTIONLESS

Shruti Ganguly is the co-founder and a partner at Fictionless, a film and video production company that focuses on digital series and branded content, narrative features, documentaries, and TV series with clients such as the United Nations, IMG, Sotheby’s, ESPN, GE, Apple, NYU and the like.
Prior to Fictionless, she has run video departments and developed the video strategy at various media companies from MTV, to Condé Nast (crafting the CLIO-winning 73 Questions series), to being the VP of TV & Video at NYLON. Shruti has worked with James Franco and his Rabbit Bandini productions for the last four years on film and digital content, and produced feature films that have gone to Sundance, Venice, Berlin, Telluride, and so on. She is currently producing a feature with Keanu Reeves, and is developing several other scripted films and TV series. Shruti hails from India by way of Oman, and loves scrabble, popcorn and scuba diving, in no particular order.
