The Studio-B&H and Panasonic Cinema invite you to an evening with acclaimed cinematographer William Wages, ASC for an exploration of his real-world production experience with VariCam 4K cinema cameras. Mr. Wages will speak about how he captured the upcoming feature film, The Forgiven, and will explain in practical detail how the VariCam LT in particular has changed his way of working (lighting, time savings, budget, etc.) Exclusive content of The Forgiven will be screened.
Other topics Mr. Wages will cover include VariCam’s award-winning Dual Native ISO sensor technology as well as his recent testing of the new compact 5.7K AU-EVA1 cinema camera.
The presentation will be immediately followed by a Q&A session and will conclude with hands-on time with the complete VariCam ecosystem, including the VariCam 35, the VariCam Pure, the VariCam LT and the recent EVA1. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the Panasonic and Studio-B&H digital cinema teams and learn about various workflows, including the Panasonic & CODEX V-RAW.

Nominated for eight ASC Awards and two Emmy Awards, as well as the recipient of the ASC Career Achievement in Television Award, cinematographer William Wages, ASC recently shot CMT Network’s Sun Records and feature film The Forgiven (directed by Roland Joffé) with VariCam LT 4K cinema cameras. He resides in Atlanta, GA.
