New York Theatre Barn presents….
A CONVERSATION WITH RUPERT HOLMES:
FROM PLATINUM PIÑA COLADAS TO TONY-WINNING PLAYWRIGHT
Hosted by The New York Post Theater Columnist MICHAEL RIEDEL
Called “an American treasure” by the Los Angeles Times, and “a true Renaissance man” by Newsweek, CBS News, Playbill and hundreds of other publications and websites, playwright-composer-arranger-screenwriter-conductor- mystery novelist-and singer-songwriter RUPERT HOLMES is the first person in theatrical history to solely win Tony® awards as an author, a composer and a lyricist.
MICHAEL RIEDEL hosts this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience personal stories, performances, and career highlights from one of our leading playwrights and songwriters RUPERT HOLMES. This year’s master class follows on the heels of our inaugural iteration, headlined last spring by living legend BARRY MANILOW, who taught to a capacity crowd of our generous patrons and family of writers (Holmes wrote the Manilow fan favorite “Studio Musician”).
A CONVERSATION WITH RUPERT HOLMES will include an intimate reception with Holmes for premium ticket buyers, and a live auction of exclusive Holmes memorabilia.
