Amplifying Voices from the Global South: New York

Video Consortium is teaming up with Al Jazeera English for the Amplifying Voices from the Global South screening on Thursday, Oct 2 at 6:30 pm at SVA Theatre.

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and bold storytelling centered on two of the most defining issues of our time: climate and migration. The screening includes a Q&A with the filmmakers, networking over light bites and drinks, plus an after-party at a spot nearby.

From disappearing landscapes, to a climate refugee building a future for her baby, and an Indigenous leader defending her village during fire season, this lineup of true stories will move you.
