The 13th annual Bosnian-Herzegovinian Film Festival (BHFF) will take place at SVA Theatre from Thursday, May 26th, through Saturday, May 28th, 2016.
Like the BHFF 2015, the 2016 edition will screen films during Memorial Day weekend, so mark your calendars!
The call for film entries is open through March 15, 2016. Films can be submitted with an online form available at BHFF’s website: http://www.bhffnyc.org.
The BHFF is an annual event that honors innovative filmmakers stemming from Bosnia-Herzegovina and films whose subject addresses and closely relates to the country’s contemporary socioeconomic and cultural issues. The festival’s film selections also explore the diversity of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian people and their experiences.
Since its inception in 2003, the BHFF has screened more than 150 films before thousands of people, and has become an important platform for both world-renowned and emerging Bosnian-Herzegovinian filmmakers.
