Big Apple Film Festival Black Cinema Showcase is an exhibition and celebration of independent films by established and up and coming filmmakers. It will be presented at the SVA Theatre in NYC. The series will include NYC premieres, filmmaker Q and A’s, and a networking reception. The event is part of the Big Apple Film Festival’s new and exciting Year Round Screening Series.”¨”‹ The goal of this particular series is to promote and empower Black filmmakers, and to foster and promote emerging talent.
