In the golden autumn of 2025, “Pinease” proudly presents a unique “New York Summit” with Dr. Henry Lee, the legendary “Modern Sherlock Holmes” of forensic science. This marks not only his long-awaited return to engage with the Chinese-American community in NYC, but also the world premiere of never-before-revealed forensic evidence from the OJ Simpson case – the shocking “Trial of the Century” that stunned America 31 years ago.

From his humble beginnings in Rugao, Jiangsu to becoming America’s first Chinese-American police chief; from investigating over 8,000 crime scenes worldwide to the landmark case that changed US judicial history – this master detective, living by his motto “Make the impossible possible”, will finally unveil the truth hidden for over three decades to Pinease’s audience.

All proceeds from tickets, donations and sponsorships will primarily support The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New Haven, advancing its mission in criminal investigation, forensic education and community service. More importantly, this event will inspire the Chinese-American community through Dr. Lee’s legacy and achievements, encouraging continued solidarity and contributions to the 200-year journey of Chinese immigrants in the US!

At this exclusive event, Dr. Henry Lee will not only share his inspiring personal journey but also deliver his first-ever keynote address: “The Trial of the Century: 31st Anniversary Retrospective on the O.J. Simpson Case.” Through never-before-seen crime scene footage and replicated key evidence, he will reconstruct – frame by frame – the forensic battle that shook the world three decades ago. This will be followed by an in-depth dialogue with our special host, tackling challenging questions about the Chinese-American experience, flaws in the U.S. judicial system, and current developments in forensic science.

Adding a distinctive Pinease touch to the evening, our New York-based artists will present an avant-garde performance blending abstract modern dance with classical music.
