You are invited to a conversation about industrial design in memory of D-Crit faculty member Ralph Caplan.

Photographer Christopher Payne discusses his new book Made in America, featuring his work documenting U.S. factories operating at all scales, from textiles to candy, airplanes to newspapers. Payne, who is trained as an architect, captures industrial production processes through the lens of design. His presentation will be followed by an onstage conversation with design journalist Julie Lasky. Our last event of the fall semester is held in memory of D-Crit faculty member Ralph Caplan.
