New York City Inspiring Connections Outdoors (ICO) is the Sierra Club’s community outreach program for children and adolescents who face the challenges of growing up within NYC’s 5 boroughs. NYCICO is a 100 percent volunteer-run program working to provide young people with outdoor recreational opportunities, leadership training, positive group experiences and environmental education, while imbuing in them a love of nature and the outdoors.
On November 12th, 2019, come celebrate the 5Point Adventure Film Festival. Join Sierra Club at the School of Visual Arts Theatre and witness gritty, profound, shocking, visceral, and inspiring independent films that manifest the spirit of adventure. 100% of proceeds go to support NYCICO’s programming!
