"Springsteen on Broadway" Screening and Q&A

As part of After School Special: The 2019 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, we are pleased to present a one-night-only screening of the Netflix special Springsteen on Broadway (2018), followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, SVA alumnus and Emmy Award winner Thom Zimny (BFA 1990 Film and Video). (Please note, Bruce will not be present!) The Q&A will be moderated by current SVA student Jamie Deradorian-Delia (MFA 2020 Social Documentary Film).
Synopsis: The intimate, final performance of Bruce Springsteen’s 236-show run at Jujamcyn’s Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway in 2018.
Springsteen on Broadway is not rated by the MPAA, and some material may be inappropriate for children under the age of 13. Children under the age of 5 may not be admitted.
…. And come early to enjoy augmented and virtual reality and music video experiences in the lobby.
Ticket Information
All After School Special festival screenings are free and open to the public. General Admission RSVPs via Eventbrite are appreciated, but not necessary, and do not guarantee admittance. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to each screening.

Concessions Information
A limited amount of free popcorn, water, and snacks (sponsored by Brew Dr. Kombucha and Soylent) will be offered at select screenings. Otherwise, concessions are not available for purchase at SVA Theatre. Guests are welcome to bring food and drink. Glass bottles and alcohol are not permitted.
