Event hosted by: UN Women HeforShe Arts Week
Event hosted by: School of Visual Arts
**THIS EVENT, PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 14TH, HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15TH AT 4:30PM.**
As part of UN Women HeforShe Arts Week, please join Gillian Anderson and Jennifer Nadel in a conversation about their book We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere. Anderson and Nadel will discuss changing how we relate to each other so that we cooperate and connect with compassion rather than compare, compete and criticize each other. They will also discuss how self-transformation can lead to empowerment, dispelling the myth that we do not have power to change the world individually.
Moderated by Mara Webster, Director Panels & Programs, Associate Programmer Tribeca Film Festival.
