Has there ever been a film like WHAT?

It’s a black-and-white silent feature starring Deaf and hearing actors, communicated through American Sign Language, Catalan Sign Language, German Sign Language, (silent) spoken English, title cards, subtitles, and universal gestures, with Deaf executive producers, Deaf investors, a Deaf cinematographer, and a hearing writer/director, fluent in ASL. With relative confidence, we can say: This film is the first of its kind.

SVA Theatre COVID Protocols for Event Attendees

All those entering SVA Theatre need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA / WHO authorized COVID vaccine and must show proof of vaccination upon entrance. “Fully vaccinated” means at least 14 days past the final dose of the vaccine received. (Recipients of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines become eligible for a booster six months after their second dose, and recipients of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine become eligible two months after their single dose.)

Everyone entering SVA Theatre must wear approved face coverings that cover the nose and mouth at all times. CDC guidelines state that bandanas, gaiters, or masks with vents/valves are not approved.
