WIA NYC Animation Festival

Join WIA NYC for the Third Annual WIA NYC Animation Festival on Sunday, November 1st, 2026, at the SVA Theatre.

As part of WIA’s global community, WIA NYC brings WIA’s mission of connection, advocacy, and empowerment to the greater New York animation community. The festival creates a space to amplify the voices and creative work of animators and storytellers, with a particular focus on supporting people of underrepresented gender identities while welcoming everyone who shares WIA’s commitment to a more inclusive and equitable industry. Come celebrate the incredible animation community of the greater NYC area with an evening showcasing talented animators and storytellers from emerging voices to established creators. The festival is an opportunity to discover new work, connect with fellow creatives, build community, and celebrate the diverse perspectives and storytelling that make New York’s animation community so vibrant.

This year’s festival is proudly sponsored by the School of Visual Arts BFA Animation & SVA BFA 3D Animation and Visual Effects departments, Aaron Blaise / Creature Art Teacher, MoMA, and Moho with more exciting sponsors to be announced soon!
