The New York Videogame Critics Circle confirmed the 12th annual New York Game Awards is returning to a live and in-person show on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023. The New York Game Awards will be co-hosted by Harold Goldberg and the 2020 Andrew Yoon Legend Award recipient and former President of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé. Goldberg and Fils-Aimé have been co-hosting the awards since 2020, but this will be Fils-Aimé’s first time hosting the show in-person.

Based in Manhattan, the New York Videogame Critics Circle is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit multicultural organization comprised of 40 of the finest videogame critics, writers, reporters and bloggers in the nation. Members of the NYVGCC give back to their communities by providing scholarships, mentoring, and community outreach to NYC school students. The New York Videogame Critics Circle sees great benefit in advocating for those who are less fortunate.

Ticket sales for the NYVGCC Awards will help to fund ongoing programs for 2023 and are on sale here.
