Crisis or Opportunity: Generative AI and the Education of Artists and Designers

The Office of the Provost invites members of the SVA community to attend a panel discussion of SVA faculty and invited guests to explore the implications generative AI has for the education of art and design students.
Confronted with the possibilities and hazards engendered by AI, our panelists will explore the practical, pedagogical, ethical, and philosophical dimensions of AI and how it is likely to inform the future of art and design education, the education of our students, and the professions that our curriculum and faculty prepare students to enter upon graduation.
