As part of After School Special: The 2019 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, we are pleased to present a special midnight screening of the box office hit Halloween (2018), preceded by a Q&A with three SVA alumni who worked on the film — cinematographer Michael Simmonds (BFA 2000 Film and Video), storyboard artist Warren Drummond (BFA 1984 Media Arts), and co-producer Ryan Turek (BFA 1998 Film and Video) of Blumhouse Productions. The Q&A will be moderated by current student Matthew Yturralde (BFA 2020 Film).
Synopsis: Laurie Strode confronts her long-time foe Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Halloween is rated R, and some material may be inappropriate for children under the age of 17. Children under the age of 5 may not be admitted.
…. And come early to enjoy augmented and virtual reality and music video experiences in the lobby.
