The SVA Masters in Directing program presents: Apple Box Short Film Festival 2022

Twenty-one fabulous thought-provoking, tearjerking, smile-inducing thesis films from the MPS Directing Class of 2022.

This year’s festival will be broken into 3 screenings:

Screening 1 – 10:00am to 12:00pm

4. Never Forget directed by Ida Anita Q. Del Mundo
5. Fairness directed by Damon Deng

Screening 2 – 1:30pm to 3:30pm
1. The Moon Stealer directed by Yongqing Jiang
2. The Meating directed by Jiamin Jin
3. Free Car directed by Jonathan Lamm
4. Battle directed by Haochen Liu
5. Eating Flower directed by Shan Long
6. To Live and Die in BK directed by Shane Santana
7. Killing Myself directed by Jillian Sobrino

Screening 3 – 4:00pm to 6:00pm
1. Union Square directed by Yifei Song
2. Dying to Survive directed by Anna Sørrig
3. The Birthday directed by Chuqi Wang and Xinyi Zhang
4. Obliquity directed by Yiran Wang and Jingfan Zhang
5. Peephole directed by Liping Ye
6. Purple and Blue directed by Ashan Zekai Zhang
7. Hide and Seek directed by Yifan Zhou

Each Screening is followed by a Q&A, plus a special screening of MPS Directing’s Learning Film “Counterblow” and awards presentation.
