Palestine Writes will be the first major festival dedicated to the celebration of Palestinian literature in the United States. The festival will bring together writers, artists, publishers, booksellers, and scholars to hold conversations about art, literature, and the intersections between culture, struggle, and politics.

This evening will be the festival’s opening night, and will feature a keynote along with poetry from Dareen Tatour, Rafeef Ziadeh, Aja Monet, Ibrahim Nasrallah, Ghassan Zaqtan, Aya el Fahmawi, Mark Tilsen, and Remi Kanazi, as well as music by Farah Siraj.

Festival Events will be held between March 27-29, at SVA and at NYU.
