As part of After School Special: The 2019 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival, we are pleased to present a free live screening of The 71st Annual Emmy Awards, broadcast via FOX on the big screen. Red carpet coverage begins at 7:00PM, and the awards at 8:00PM.
The Emmy Awards annually recognize excellence within various areas of television and emerging media. Root on SVA alumni nominees and their nominated shows (including the Netflix special Springsteen on Broadway, which we’ll be showing on Wednesday 9/18 at 7:00PM)!
The 71st Annual Emmy Awards is rated TV-14, and some material may be inappropriate for children under the age of 14. Children under the age of 5 may not be admitted.
…. And come early to enjoy augmented and virtual reality and music video experiences in the lobby.
Ticket Information
All After School Special festival screenings are free and open to the public. General Admission RSVPs via Eventbrite are appreciated, but not necessary, and do not guarantee admittance. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes prior to each screening.

Concessions Information
A limited amount of free popcorn, water, and snacks (sponsored by Brew Dr. Kombucha and Soylent) will be offered at select screenings. Otherwise, concessions are not available for purchase at SVA Theatre. Guests are welcome to bring food and drink. Glass bottles and alcohol are not permitted.
