Ads-Up is partnering with Indie-Pix to screen the hilarious and heart warming Aussie comedy “The Merger“ in New York at a special one-off screening. We could all do with a laugh and good story from Australia right now – join fellow expats and Ads-Up supporters for drinks (courtersy of Aussie wine maker Bird in Hand) and canapes before the film then sit back and enjoy the tale of Bodgy Creek and its beloved footy team.

Funds raised on the night will go towards Ads-Up’s work supporting refugees resettled in US from Nauru and Manus Island.

We also encourage attendees to give generously to the Australian bushfire relief effort. Climate change is both a major driver of human displacement and the cause of more severe and frequent extreme weather efforts. The ongoing disaster in Australia is another reminder that we all share the one planet and a common humanity.
