A special preview screening of the HBO documentary Very Semi-Serious: A Partially Thorough Portrait of New Yorker Cartoonists, with New Yorker cartoonist and editor Bob Mankoff discussing his career and signing copies of his book, How About Never””Is Never Good for You?: My Life in Cartoons (Picador). Hosted by SVA faculty member Keith Mayerson.
Robert Mankoff has been the cartoon editor of The New Yorker since 1997. He has edited multiple cartoon collections, including The Complete Cartoons of The New Yorker and The Naked Cartoonist: A New Way to Enhance Your Creativity. More than nine hundred of his cartoons have been published in the magazine.
